Private Birthday Parties in the Pirates Den - Take Over the Pirates Den indoor soft play area for your Private Birthday Party - invite up to 30 of your closest friends. Want food arranged? No problem! Add face painting or balloon animals to the entertainment.
Easter Egg Hunt - family fun, treasure hunts and frolics over Easter Weekend – and maybe win some great prizes too!
Westport Festival of Music & Performing Arts - June 29 & 30th. A new and exciting grown-up music festival suitable for all the family.

Halloween Fest at Westport House - Have a howl of a Hallowe'en at Westport House's annual Hallowe'en Fest running all mid-term break long with the adventure park rides, (not too scary) haunted house, family workshops and fireworks!
Fireworks Extravaganza – Over the Halloween Bank Holiday weekend, join us for a treat (no tricks promise) with an explosive Fireworks Extravaganza and haunting Halloween dance on the front lawn of Westport House. Come one, come all - fireworks are for everyone!
Winter Wonderland at Westport House - Enjoy a magical Christmas experience at Westport House: open weekends from Nov 24 through to Christmas Eve. Stunning Santa's Grotto in 18th century Westport House, Storytime with Mrs Claus, workshops and more
As a primarily outdoor attraction, we recommend that you plan appropriately - this may mean sun hats, sun screen, umbrellas and rain gear all on the same day! You can review the weather forecast on the Met Eireann site to plan for your visit.
Please note that management cannot accept responsibility for temporary unavailability of attractions due to circumstances beyond their control - ALL attractions are normally available - please call 098 27766 to check before visiting or upon arrival at the ticket office.
Please note that while buggies are highly recommended for use in the extensive gardens, Pirate Adventure Park and campsite, they are unfortunately not permitted in Westport House in an effort to preserve the antique parquet floors. You may park your buggy inside in the ante-library while you tour the House. You might like to bring your own baby carrier or please feel free to borrow one of ours while you’re in the House.
