Carnival for Mid-Term Break

We are delighted to welcome back Arthur North & Company and his selection of carnival rides and games for October Mid-Term Break.
The Carnival will re-locate to the **front of Westport House** and run all mid-term break long from October 28th to November 7th from 11am to 7pm daily.
The Helter Skelter slide is a massive hit every year as are the swinging Chair-O-Planes. We were not prepared for just how popular the Bumper Cars would be when they arrived this past summer – a massive hit! We will also have a couple of Carnival Games where you can test your hand-eye coordination to see if you can win a coveted and prized teddy to take home with the kids.
When?
The Carnival will run all mid-term break long and you may pay as you go at €3 per person per ride or per game. When you visit, feel free to visit Halloween Fest in Westport House from October 29th to 31st to enjoy the haunted house, Jack O’Lantern carving, Storytime with the white witch, face-painting, Thriller dance workshop and more.
For the remainder of October mid-term break (November 1st to 6th), Westport House will stay open to the public (minus the Halloween workshops and kids activities) and kids will go FREE into the house itself.
If you’re peckish, you can enjoy a hot cuppa, snacks and chips from The Galley which will run alongside the carnival.
The Carnival Rides will operate from Saturday morning, October 29th to Sunday evening, November 6th, from 11am to 7pm. Each ride/game costs €3 each per person.
Rider Safety
Dodgem Cars: Children under 1.3m will need a driver who is taller than 1.3m to accompany them. Please note that all riders must hold a ticket.
