Easter Egg Hunt at Westport House

Join us for a great family day out in Westport House when we hold Mayo’s finest annual Easter Egg Hunt on Easter Sunday, March 27th from 11am to 6pm. You’ll look high and low for clues to enter to win some great prizes while enjoying the gorgeous grounds of Westport House & Grounds.
Pinkie Rabbit will come back to help us celebrate the holiday and the first 300 children to complete the hunt will receive a FREE easter egg. Every family that finishes will be entered to win some great prizes being awarded at 4:00pm including a family day pass, a 2016 membership (worth €240) and a stay in one of our gorgeous Bell Tents.
Be sure to get her early –it promises to be an egg-cellent day out for all the gang.
Open all Easter mid-term break long, Westport House & Pirate Adventure Park provides the ultimate in family fun. The Park is filled with attractions including Ireland’s only log flume ride, the Cannon Ball Run slide, Swinging Ship, swan pedaloe boat, playground, bouncy castles, trains, go karts and indoor soft play. And there’s plenty to satisfy the culture vultures in the House too. For children aged 8 years and up – as well as grown-ups – our Adventure Activity Centre provides your daily adrenaline-rush with zorbing, archery, combat games and the dizzying Sky Challenge.

Top Tip: Weather appropriate clothing is recommended as the hunt takes place mostly outdoors.
Opening Times
We are open from 11am to 6pm. You will want to allow at least 1 hour to complete the hunt. And don’t forget that the prize draw is at 5:30pm in the Pirates Haven if you’d like to enter for to win a family day pass to come back, a 2016 membership worth €240 or a stay in one of our gorgeous Bell Tents being awarded at 5:30pm in the Pirates Haven.
Booking & Admission Price
The Easter Treasure Hunt is included in the regular admission price to Westport House & Pirate Adventure Park. And there’s an added bonus – you get 5% OFF when you buy your tickets in advance on our website. Please note that pre-booking for the Easter Egg Hunt is not required.
If you plan to come back to Westport House more than once in the year, you might like to consider 2016 membership. And if you enjoy your visit over Easter mid-term, Westport House will deduct the admission paid that day off the already reduced Early Bird rates for Membership – a cracking deal!
