Hooley at the House

Mark your calendar for an afternoon of family fun and fantastic music on June 12th from 12pm to 6pm.
Midwest Radio and Westport House are delighted to announce the return of the Hooley At The House at Westport House, County Mayo on Sunday June 12th, 2016.
After a hugely-successful event last year the decision to bring the Hooley back to Westport was a no-brainer! With an ideal location, the cream of Irish music talent, amazing amenities for the children and a fantastic ticket price “Hooley at the House’ promises to be the best family day out in the West of Ireland this summer.

Gates will open at 12 noon on the day with 6 hours of free entertainment. The live music on the big stage commences at 2 pm sharp and artists on the day will include:

General Event Info
Gates open 12:00pm and music starts 2:00pm. You may leave the venue after entry but please ensure that you have your event stamp for re-entry. Up to two children under 13 are allowed for free with a parent/guardian ticket holder. There is a teen ticket available for teenagers 13-17 years old (€15) but they must be accompanied by an adult. There are no ATMs on site but there are bank machines close by in Westport Town. Full bar and food facilities are available on site (everyone under 21 years will require photo ID).
The stage and concert will take place in front of Westport House on the front lawn. The Pirate Adventure Park & Westport House itself will be open for use by all attendees. There will be a dance floor in front of the stage.
Transport
Westport is a very busy town and traffic is heavy on a quiet day so please use car parks provided and where possible use public transport. We urge all concert go-ers to plan for delays and allow yourself plenty of travel time. Plan your route in advance and check the AA roadwatch website for reports on traffic, road works and delays. Please follow all Gardai instruction, stewarding and event signage in the town centre.
Bus Services Announced

- Ballina, Foxford & Ballyvary: A special bus will travel on the day from Ballina – leaving from the bus stop at Dunnes Stores at 11.00 am and stopping in Foxford (bus stop) at 11.20 am and Ballyvary (bus stop) at 11.30am and on to Westport House.
- Castlebar: A shuttle bus service will also operate from 11.00am on Sunday June 12th from Castlebar to Westport will the collection point at Chapel Street and will operate every half hour.
Parking
Look for “Hooley” signage directing you to car parks entrance on Westport House estate where onsite car parking will be free. Car parks are situated off the Golf Course road which is off the N59 (Newport-Westport road). Please note that parking in Westport Town outside of the Hooley car parks is also FREE on Sunday. The Pay & Display parking charges do not apply nor does the 1 hour rule on streets.
Special Needs
Special needs parking is available 200m from the concert stage. Please enter via the Golf Course Road Entrance. There will be a designated area for wheelchair users near the stage. Carers for concert goers with special needs will go free.
Your Safety
This is an outdoor event and will take place rain or shine. Please remember to plan for adverse weather conditions. Always check the weather before setting off. Please have your ticket ready for inspection at entrance points. No alcohol, glass or cans permitted. Umbrellas, small garden furniture and seats are permitted (and encouraged). Please obey the stewards and gardai and any safety instructions given over the public address system.
