MINI Show Day

Westport House is set to see an invasion of MINI’s old and new later this month, as the 2017 MINI International Festival gets underway from the 25th May to 28th May. Described as a ‘MINI’ Electric Picnic, this three day event is expected to attract close to 3,000 fans and 1,200 MINI cars of all shapes and sizes, new and old which will be proudly presented by their loving owners.

On Sunday, May 28th, the International MINI Meet Opens its doors to the public from 12pm to 5pm. And all are welcome!

We are running a competition for TWO family of four passes for the Sunday show. The whole estate will be buzzing with family fun and MINI frolics.

• There will be a static show of gorgeous minis on the Front Lawn of Westport House which are judged on different categories. You are welcome to get amongst these gorgeous cars.
• The public can visit all the traders on site so if you need any MINI car parts – that is the place to source them!
• There will be live music and entertainment in the Big Red Barn in the Farmyard area of the estate.
  Westport House will be open to the public – and included in your price of admission – with all 30 rooms on show – you can also enjoy a Jack Daniel’s MINI exhibition in the basement.
• The award-winning Pirate Adventure Park will be open – and included in your admission – with Ireland’s only log flume ride, the Swinging Ship, 8 ft Swan Pedal Boats, the Westport House Express miniature railway, Go Karts, Chair O Planes and Helter Skelter.
• Carnival Rides will also be operating – at an additional cost – to include the Big Wheel, Bumper Cars and Carousel along with games offering the chance to win a cuddly toy to take home.
• You can enjoy a burger on the front lawn from Rumbles Restaurants or a delicious wood-fired pizza from Gracy’s in the farmyard.

Show is open from 12pm to 5pm for the public. It’s €10 per person for anyone taller than a MINI – no need to purchase in advance, just turn up on pay on the gate. Cash only.

For anyone wanting to enter a car to the show, you MUST be at Westport House no later than 10am up on the Sunday to set up for the show. You will NOT be permitted access to the site any later. Cost of participation is Sunday Show Car & Driver €20, passenger €10.

All participants are encouraged to park in town and walk to the Show Day via the Westport House town centre gate at Church Lane. There will be limited parking on the Golf Course Road.
