On Wednesday, 3rd December 2025, Westport Estate will host our annual Sensory Santa session at Winter Wonderland, a magical experience designed to be a little calmer and more relaxed, while still full of Christmas cheer.
This special session is particularly suited for children with autism, sensory sensitivities, or those who benefit from a gentler environment. We brighten the lights and soften the Christmas music to create a soothing atmosphere. Santa will meet with families individually, and numbers are reduced to make the visit more peaceful and enjoyable. Siblings are warmly welcome to join in the festive fun too!
Along with meeting Santa, there’s so much to enjoy, say hello to Mrs Claus, explore Tinsel Town with its snowy village and playful Elves, visit the live crib, and soak up all the festive sights.
With a little less bustle and a lot more calm, our Sensory Santa Day is all about creating magical moments your family will treasure this Christmas.
Tickets & Information
In line with our policy for guests with disabilities, each child with autism is entitled to one free ticket for a carer or helper.
Ticket Prices:
• Babies under 2 years: €15.00
(0–23 months – includes a token gift)
• Children: €38.50
(Aged 3–16 years – includes a small gift)
• Adults: €18.50
(Aged 16 years and up. If you prefer Santa not to address or gift someone aged 13+, you can book them as an adult)
Photography:
A professional photo service will be available in Santa’s Grotto to capture your little one’s special visit – this is not included in the admission price. Professionally printed photos can be purchased, and you’re welcome to take your own family photos at no cost.
Accessibility Information for Wheelchair Users
Please note that Westport House and the Winter Wonderland event do not have wheelchair access or lifts. Additionally, Tinsel Town, where Santa’s Grotto is located, has a gravel surface. We recommend planning accordingly to ensure your visit is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
