Westport House Honoured In the Boots Maternity & Infant Magazine Awards
Westport, Co. Mayo – 2nd November 2015 – Hosted by RTE’s Today Show presenter Maura Derrane and TV Presenter Brian Ormond, last Friday in the Double Tree by Hilton Hotel in Donnybrook, the Maternity & Infant magazine awards celebrated the very best products, stores and brands in the industry. Westport House was unveiled as the overall winner in the “Best Family Hotel / Holiday Destination” and bronze winner in the “Best Family Day Out” category. Because the Maternity & Infant awards are the only awards in Ireland voted and tested for by parents for parents, the whole team at Westport House is tickled pink with the win.
It is no surprise that Westport House is winning awards. It truly is the “home of family fun” – for over 55 years now. The beautiful historic house and its stunning interiors are complimented by equally gorgeous woods, lake and parkland grounds. Running for the whole month of December, Winter Wonderland is a fabulously festive event in which the children meet Santa, Mrs Claus, make gingerbread men, yuletide logs and Christmas wishes as well as take train rides – all in the stunning and festive 18th century Westport House.
