Europe’s largest Ferris Wheel – standing at 36m tall – is being built at Westport House as I write. Everyday over mid-term break, you’ll be able to enjoy spectacular views from the top of beautiful Clew Bay, Croagh Patrick and the entire estate. And the big wheel will stay there all year long so you can enjoy it up until the end of August.
It will cost €4 per person for a ride (adult or child). There are no height restrictions so everyone can ride the Giant Wheel however, everyone will need to be ticketed.
The Big Wheel is located in Car Park #4 which is inside the paid area of the attraction so you will need to have a ticket to pass the checkpoint to access it. You can buy a grounds only ticket, house ticket or ticket to the Pirate Adventure Park.
