These are a real treat for the whole family. Simple and great fun to make. Create these as a part of your perfect Afternoon Tea, or why not with some ice-cream for a yummy dessert. This recipeĀ makes about two trays and anything up to 30-35 pieces.

 

Ingredients:

  • 567g butter
  • 567g chocolate 70%
  • 567g brown sugar
  • 270g plain flour
  • 10 eggs

Serves 30-35 pieces (so if you prefer a smaller batch, be sure to half the quantities – or you could give the gift of deliciousness squidgy chocolate to your friends & family)

Method:

  1. Melt butter and chocolate in a bowl
  2. Cream sugar and eggs until light and pale
  3. Add butter and chocolate mix to the egg & sugar
  4. Fold in sieved flour
  5. Place the mix in a tray lined with parchment paper or buttered and floured
  6. Bake in preheated oven 170c for 30 mins
  7. Remove and allow to cool
