Are you ready to be a part of something extraordinary? Roamer is coming to Mayo, and we want YOU to join us in creating some film magic at Westport House.
We’re on the lookout for a bunch of amazing locals to take part in our upcoming film, and here’s the best part – anyone can apply! Whether you’re 12 or 100, of any size, ethnicity, or ability, we want you to be a part of THE CHARGE!
Who Are Roamer?
Roamer is a Dublin based production company started by director of photography, Conor Hayes. The company has worked with clients such as Adidas, Failte Ireland and Rockshore in recent times.
Lochlain McKenna is a multi-award winning director who’s made ads for the likes of Specsavers, Guinness and Tesco amongst many others. His music video work for the likes of Westlife and Keane have been viewed over a 100 million times online and he’s had the privilege of working with sporting greats such as Johnny Sexton, Roy Keane, Sam Warburton and Paul O’Connell.
His short film, “Two For The Road,” was recently long-listed for an Oscar.
How to Apply
If you’re interested we would need you to be available and able to commit to shooting for at least 4 hours on Wednesday the 27th of March.
Please email [email protected] with a recent picture of yourself and, if possible, a short one minute video just telling us a little bit about yourself.
No drama experience necessary.
While some roles may involve a bit of running, don’t worry – we’ll make sure it’s nothing you can’t handle. Just let us know if you’re in good health and comfortable with short distances.
While this position is unpaid, there will be a small token of appreciation from Westport House on the day. Plus, it’s an excellent opportunity for families looking to give their kids a taste of the film industry!
