Pinkie Rabbit returns for easter treasure hunt

Mayo, Ireland (Monday, April 4, 2011) – Visit Westport House & Pirate Adventure Park for family fun, treasure hunts and frolics over Easter Weekend – and maybe win some great prizes too! Take part in one of two days of Easter Treasure Hunts on Easter Saturday (23rd April) and Easter Sunday (24th April).  You’ll look high and low for clues to enter to win some great prizes while enjoying the gorgeous grounds of Westport House & Gardens.  Pinkie Rabbit will come back from a long break to help us celebrate the holiday and the first 500 children each day to complete the hunt will receive a complimentary egg. Every family that finishes will be entered to win some great prizes being awarded at 5:30pm each day. Be sure to get her early –it promises to be an egg-cellent day out for all the gang.

Opening on April 16th for 2 weeks for the Easter mid-term break, Westport House & Pirate Adventure Park provides the ultimate in family fun.  The Park is filled with attractions including water rides, slides, swinging ships, swan pedaloe boats, pitch and putt, tennis and table tennis, playgrounds and soft play.  And there’s lots to satisfy the culture vultures in the House too. For children aged 8 years and up – as well as grown ups – our Adventure Activity Centre provides your daily adrenaline-rush with archery, clay pigeon shooting, orienteering, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, sailing and combat games.

Easter at Westport House provides a fun day out for all the family.  Children will love meeting Pinkie Rabbit – as will many parents who remember him from the first time around!  Weather appropriate clothing recommended. Pre-booking for Treasure Hunts not required, simply turn up any time all day long – although you will want to allow1 hour to complete the hunt in time to enter for to win prizes.  Regular admission charges apply – there is no additional cost for the Easter Treasure Hunt.  If you plan to come back more than once, you might like to consider an Annual Pirate Pass – for the cost of 3 days, you get to visit for 120!  A great day out for school tours, birthday parties, special needs groups, communions and other groups.  Visit
