Iona University Visits Westport House

Westport House had the pleasure of hosting Dr. Seamus Carey and esteemed representatives from New York’s Iona University.

Their visit marked the beginning to a thrilling new chapter as Westport House prepares to become the home of Iona University’s pilot campus in Ireland.

Westport House to host new pilot campus for New York’s Iona University

Starting Summer 2024, Westport House will proudly welcome 30 students from Iona University. This historic house will be the vibrant setting for classes, fostering a unique and enriching academic experience.

Iona University’s legacy in Ireland dates back many centuries and students next summer will be able to learn as they immerse themselves in the rich history of Westport House dating back to the 16th Century.

They’ll also be able to enjoy the breathtakingly beautiful surroundings on the 400-acre estate, while taking advantage of all that Westport and the Wild Atlantic Way has to offer.
