Seamus Heaney Exhibition: Listen Now Again
Embark on a literary journey as the National Library of Ireland proudly presents the highly acclaimed exhibition, “Seamus Heaney: Listen Now Again,” hosted at the historic Westport House.
Running from February 1st to February 18th, the “Listen Now Again” exhibition finds its home in the enchanting Long Gallery on the ground floor of Westport House.
Open to the public Wednesday to Sunday, from 12 noon to 4 pm, complimentary tickets for this literary celebration are available for walk-in visitors at the front door of Westport House – No advance booking is required.
Plus – the main floor of Westport House which will also be open at no additional cost.
Did you know? Seamus Heaney is included in the Leaving Cert 2024 curriculum making this exhibition a great resource for students diving into the world of this renowned Irish poet and playwright.
The Toastie Food Truck
Indulge the perfect comfort food – a cheesy, loaded, sourdough toastie from the Toastie Food Truck at Westport House.

The Interactive Gaming Zone
Get out and active with a gaming twist at The Interactive Gaming Zone.
An exhilarating destination designed for all ages, take on a host of challenging and interactive games that combine video gaming and physical movement.
With games ranging from penalty shoot outs to Angry Birds and building robots, the kids are going to love The Interactive Gaming Zone – plus it’s a great rainy day activity option in Westport.

The Ocean Spirit Leisure Centre is on the grounds of Westport Estate, only a 5-minute walk from Westport House.
